Clean and simple business site for Dr. Marie Brown, an internist practicing in Oak Park, IL.

Launched in July of 2010, I worked closely with Dr. Brown to select and customize an appropriate WordPress Theme. The goal of the site is to provide basic information about Dr. Brown and her practice. Information includes a bio of Dr. Brown, hours of operation, directions, and reference materials for new and current patients.

  • Installed WordPress and supporting plugins
  • Provided a number of Worpdress theme options to client
  • Customized Notepad theme, modifying it to display only pages rather than blog posts

The Looney Labs Fan Club is a Ning based online community for fans of Looney Labs games. Launched in December of 2010, I worked closely with the individual responsible for launching the community and provided the following support:

  • Researched and recommended possible community platforms.
  • Assisted in customization of Ning platform. Example: changed ‘blog posts’ into ‘event reports’.
  • Refined IA with community founder
  • Drafted Community Guidelines
  • Brainstormed organization of Groups and Forums

CSectionRecovery.com is a resource for women recovering from cesearan sections. I created this website in 2004, updating it over the years to bring it to the state it is in today. This website is consistently returned at the top of search engine result pages (SERPs) for searches related to c-section and c-section recovery.

Website Statistics:

  • between 400 and 600 unique visitors a day
  • 2009: 170,000+ visitors and 380,000 page views
