Discovery News launched in November of 2009. My last major project at Discovery Communications, I contributed the following to this site:
- Information Architecture: Creation of 3,500 tag vocabulary. Tags are used to generate ‘You Might Also Like’ recommendations for articles (example: article page) as well as to generate dynamic collections of content (example: Tyrannosaurus )
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Topic titles and descriptions, recommendations for improved anchor text, SEO research for new terms added to tag vocabulary
